Solid experience, above what I would expect. Shawn was great to work with. The only reason I'm going 4 stars is the car needed a lot of routine maintenance right after I bought it and I wasn't aware of that - it cost a lot. Made an amazing experience merely 'good'.
Not unhappy about it though, still feel like I got a good deal, and appreciated all the work Shawn did to help me out, including getting the vehicle brought down, waiving a deposit, and helping with a warranty in case there are major issues with the engine in the near future, as well as covering some repairs.

Martin Luna helped me find and finance my dream car. He listened and worked hard for a win-win! Their service folks got it ready and let me know about battery and breaks that would need service soon. The price was right for this most excellent vehicle and I paid a small amount to a local mechanic to get it in tip-top shape. I could easily resell this FJ Cruiser for thousands more than I paid , but I won’t because it’s a perfect fit for me!!!
I bought a truck yesterday at Berkenkotter Motors in Parker. Shawn Carrollwas my sale guy. The experience was great. I mean, really, how many times can you say that when purchasing a used vehicle. Shawn is very knowledgeable, he is professional and fun to work with. Most of all I trust Shawn and Berkenkotter. Friends had recommended Berkenkotter to me. So, when it came time for a used truck purchase I called Shawn and am happy I did. I've also been using Berkenkotter Motors Repair Shop in Castle Rock for 10-years plus. They do all my maintenance. They're trustworthy, do a good job and stand behind their work. If you're looking for a used car, give Shawn at Berkenkotter a call, you will be happy you did.
Was definitely told they'd reach back out to me about who has my toll transponder, they definitely know who I am, the original location I called in Parker didn't answer so when I called the location in Brighton someone answered and laughed at me and said I deserved to have someone rolling around with my toll transponder when it was a mistake on my part to even leave it in (I believed I had pulled it and it was my garage transponder for a previous building I had rented in). This was literally a mistake and everyone there is literally treating me like I deserve to be punished with $100's of dollars in tolls for this mistake - I'm expected to be a nice guy while they expect to be allowed to mean spirited and provide zero assistance when the assistance requested is literally just a couple of phone calls. Ly__ette has my number, knows who I am, knows which vehicle is causing the issue, has never called back, and the guy who answered at Brighton was just plain mean.
Expecting me to be nice while whoever used the transponder gets off scot-free on tolls just isn't ethical no matter how it's sliced.
Get in touch and get this sorted out and I will remove any bad reviews - I just want the tolls that the person using this transponder is racking up to get paid, I don't want any money. I still have no actual proof that it wasn't one of their employees who did this, either, so providing proof of who does have it and getting this sorted out is just the right thing to do.
